A diverse group of drugs that alter perceptions, thoughts and feelings. They cause hallucination, or sensations and images that seem real thought they are not. Hallucinogenic drugs include LSD, PCP, mescaline and psilocybin (magic mushrooms). Another name for this group of drugs is psychedelic drugs.
